Service Terms & Client Agreement

We believe exceptional vehicle care begins with clear expectations. Please review these terms before confirming your appointment.

1. Service Pricing & Estimates

Advertised prices reflect standard service conditions for a midsize sedan.

Final pricing may vary based on vehicle size, condition, accessibility, and services requested.

  • Larger vehicles may require additional labor and adjusted pricing.

  • Excessive pet hair, heavy staining, embedded contamination, or conditions beyond the selected package may require additional service.

  • Additional work will be explained and quoted before it begins.

  • You may decline additional services without obligation to purchase them.

No unauthorized services or additional charges will be applied.

Applicable Washington sales tax will be calculated based on the service location and disclosed in your estimate or invoice.

2. Service Scope & Expected Results

Each service includes only the treatments listed in its description and any additions approved by the client.

Our services focus on cleanliness, comfort, vehicle presentation, and compatible surface protection.

  • Results depend on the vehicle’s existing condition, materials, previous care, and environmental exposure.

  • Permanent stains, scratches, oxidation, damaged clear coat, and deteriorated materials may not be fully corrected through detailing.

  • Wax, sealants, UV protectants, and water-repellent treatments provide temporary benefits. Their performance and durability vary with use, weather, and maintenance.

  • Paint correction, ceramic coating installation, and other specialized restoration services are excluded unless specifically offered and approved.

We may adjust our cleaning methods or recommend excluding a vulnerable surface when treatment could cause damage.

Specific results or complete restoration are not guaranteed.

3. Preparing Your Vehicle

Before your scheduled appointment, please:

  • Remove valuables, personal belongings, and excessive trash from areas being serviced.

  • Provide vehicle keys and necessary access.

  • Disclose known damage, loose components, delicate finishes, aftermarket modifications, or other concerns.

  • Confirm the service location is accessible and permits mobile detailing.

Child Safety Seats

For safety reasons, we do not remove, reposition, reinstall, or clean child restraint systems.

If surrounding areas require detailing, please arrange for the seat’s safe removal before service.

Personal Compartments

Closed storage compartments will remain unopened unless access has been specifically approved.

We are not responsible for cleaning areas made inaccessible by personal belongings or installed accessories.

4. Vehicle Inspection & Existing Conditions

A pre-service inspection may identify existing wear, damage, contamination, and sensitive materials.

Photographs may be taken to document vehicle condition and service-related concerns.

  • Existing damage or deterioration may limit the services we can safely perform.

  • We may recommend an alternative treatment or exclude vulnerable areas.

  • Any additional service or price adjustment requires client approval.

Inspection photographs are for service documentation and will not be published for advertising without separate permission.

Upgrade Auto Detail LLC is not responsible for damage arising solely from pre-existing defects or ordinary material deterioration. This does not waive responsibility for damage caused or aggravated by our negligence or improper workmanship.

5. Health & Safety Exclusions

We do not provide:

  • Mold remediation.

  • Biohazard or bodily-fluid cleanup.

  • Pest or rodent remediation.

  • Hazardous-material removal.

Please disclose potentially unsafe conditions before your appointment, including suspected mold, bodily fluids, exposed sharps, pest contamination, or hazardous substances.

We may decline, discontinue, or reschedule affected work when conditions present an unreasonable health or safety concern.

Any completed work and applicable charges will be reviewed with the client before final billing.

6. Mobile Service Location & Environmental Requirements

Clients must provide a safe, accessible location where mobile vehicle detailing is permitted.

  • Obtain any necessary approval from your HOA, landlord, property owner, or management company.

  • Provide suitable parking and adequate working space.

  • Disclose site restrictions, drainage concerns, or limited access before booking.

  • Confirm the vehicle can remain available throughout the scheduled service.

Upgrade Auto Detail LLC is responsible for using appropriate wastewater-management practices and complying with applicable environmental and safety requirements.

Services may be declined or rescheduled when site conditions prevent safe or compliant operation.

Collected wastewater will be handled through an authorized disposal method. Wastewater will not be intentionally discharged into storm drains or surface waters.

Any necessary site accommodations will be discussed before service.

7. Scheduling, Weather & Cancellations

We request at least 8 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made at least 8 hours before the appointment incur no cancellation charge.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment.

  • Weather, unsafe temperatures, or unsuitable site conditions may require rescheduling.

  • Weather-related rescheduling initiated by Upgrade Auto Detail will not incur a cancellation charge.

  • If access is unavailable upon arrival, we will attempt to contact you before determining whether the appointment can proceed.

No automatic late-cancellation or no-show fee applies under this agreement.

Any future deposit, cancellation fee, or no-show charge must be separately disclosed and accepted before booking.

8. Service Completion & Payment

Payment is due upon service completion unless another arrangement is expressly agreed upon during booking.

  • The final invoice will reflect the approved services and applicable sales tax.

  • Clients are encouraged to review completed work and raise any concerns.

  • If an issue is identified after service, please provide a description and photographs when available.

  • We will review reported concerns and discuss an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.

Ongoing maintenance services may have separate eligibility, scheduling, and pricing terms, which will be disclosed before enrollment or booking.

9. Client Acknowledgment

By confirming an appointment and accepting this agreement, the client acknowledges that they:

  • Have reviewed and accepted these Service Terms.

  • Are authorized to request services for the vehicle.

  • Understand the selected service scope and estimated pricing.

  • Agree that additional work requires prior approval.

  • Understand that results vary with vehicle condition and material compatibility.

  • Confirm that the service location is suitable and authorized for the requested work.

Nothing in this agreement limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable Washington law.
